The meeting of the Club on September 21st was addressed by Chris Eales, District Governor Elect. He was asked to clarify for us what a “Vibe” might be when applied to a Rotary meeting.
* “If an excellent Club experience is provided, the Club will grow.”
* “There must be some fun with the work.”
So:
1) The meetings must be enjoyable and the members must feel included.
2) There must be confidence in Club Leadership.
3) There should be Personal growth opportunities.
4) Connections. Formation of new and valuable relationships.
5) The effort that is expended must feel valuable.

At a micro level at which the club operates, issues that need attention are:
* Don’t talk about topics that other people in the group are unfamiliar.
* Support topics that have strong support of members.
* Be flexible not rigid.
* If a person leaves, find out why.
* Need a one-page plan of the year’s targets.
* When recruiting, target a clear demography and/or group of people.
* Sell the story of Rotary.
Thank you for your range of ideas. We must now identify where we can improve ourselves. And do it!
