As President, I had the honour to present our Tertiary Education Award at Naenae College this month, a $2,000 grant to a student selected by the School.
A special moment came at the end of the evening when the boy's mother, a solo parent of very limited financial means, came up to me to express her gratitude. It was a moment I will treasure forever.
