This proved to be a very successful day with 20 exhibitors attending. Feedback from the exhibitors is that they really enjoyed the day and would love to come again next year. Feedback from the people who came was that they benefited from the day and would like the event to be run again.

Some highlights of the day were:
  • Amazing displays with helpful knowledgeable people manning them
  • Good crowd attendance
  • The Blood Pressure stand being really busy, with so many people taking the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked
  • Opportunity to have BMI (Body Mass Index) checked
  • The popularity of the delicious pumpkin soup and the free fruit
  • The success of the grocery box draws
  • Leo the Lion
  • Face-painting for the children
What makes it incredibly valuable for me on behalf of Rotary is the knowledge that we have almost certainly made a difference for a significant number of people.

And may I offer a big thank-you to my Committee for their help in making this day successful. Extra thanks go to Jaye Howey, Christine Meredith and Colin Alford for making themselves available and helping on the day and a further thanks to Marion Good who did an amazing job putting the grocery boxes together.
