What a great day!  We were blessed with a perfect day - warm temperatures, little wind and blue sky.
33 volunteers were involved either before, or on the day.  Thanks to Paddy Well's great work, 32 teams of four entered amounting to $3,800 in player fees.

In addition, Brian Lummis raised $6,000 from his sponsorship efforts, BBQ sales amounted to $134, Shelley Bryant and her team or raffle sellers raised $739, Judy Dearsley, David Thompson and David Gledhill collected $427 from target holes and our auctioneer Doug Palmer raised in excess of $3,300.

It's with much pride that Eastern Hutt Rotary was able to provide Te Omanga Hospice with a much needed donation in excess of $11,000 - a truly great team effort.

I would like to acknowledge the work Paddy Wells has done over the years with regards the Tournament.  That knowledge was collated by his son, Glen Wells, into a Procedure Manual this year.  This provides a real asset for us to use for future events.

And finally we need to thank all those involved for their efforts in making this event such a great fundraiser for our community.
