We were blessed to have a great speaker at our last meeting Fauono Ken Laban, Mayor of Lower Hutt. Ken started his speech by saying "Kindness is the language that the blind can see and the deaf can hear"
A big 'thank you' to all those members and families who assisted at this year's Te Omanga Charity Golf Tournament. Once again you helped make the tournament a very successful event. A special thank you must go to the "Gazebos Up" team who worked hard putting the gazebos up around the course in the early morning only to take them down again because of the high winds. Thank you to the "Gazebos Down" team who gathered the gazebos in at the end of the tournament.
A reminder that it's your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to fulfil your duty. Please let Jan Palmer know of any changes to the roster.
