BOARD DECISIONS - Sunday 24th May:

This took place at President Robert's premises, some in person and some via Zoom.  Contrary to the carton, it was to discuss the very related issue of where in our local community we could help with funding.

There were so many worthy suggestions put forward but, at this stage, most of the funding is to be allocated to targeted food banks around Eastern Hutt.  There is never enough money to distribute to so many deserving institutions and people....

At tonight's Zoom meeting at 5pm, greater detail will be shared with members.

Trentham Memorial Park
Paul and I have been so lucky to live next door to the most beautiful park in the Hutt Valley – Trentham Memorial Park.  It is wonderful to have it so close and has been a godsend during these past 4 weeks of isolation.  We walk to the park twice a day – a long walk without the elderly dog and a short walk with the elderly dog.

General Notices:

* Looking forward:  The club changeover date has been penciled in for Monday 6th July.  The Pink Ribbon Breakfast has been sadly deferred until 2021.

* Cyclone Harold:  Dave Wilson has recommended that any donations to help replenish ERK’s by our Club Members should be through our Club Treasurer.

* Children's Hospital Raffle: Our District is running this fundraising raffle for the Family/Whanau Rooms.  This will now be drawn on 30th June and Jan Palmer has tickets available until it closes.  Anyone who is able to take a book or two to sell to family/friends/work colleagues, would be appreciated.  It's a great cause!
