Last Meeting: Wet, wet, wet....
So often when an outside activity is planned, the weather will please itself. On Monday it was to be a fun event at the Hutt Bowling Club...but nobody brought their togs or jet ski....
So, Plan B took over and Judy Dearsley ran a most enjoyable Quiz Evening. The result was very close but the "Brains Trust" candidates (Brian, Des, Jaye & Gary) with their written votes 'Trumped' through in the finish.
Parting Thought:
The game of life can be exhilarating when played correctly. It encompasses:
respect
good values
hard work, and
complete focus
To keep your eye on the ball, whilst adhering to the above moral values, means the finish line will give more than a silver trophy - it's rewards will last a life time.

General Notices:
* Monday's Club Christmas Party: Instead of the usual 5:30pm gathering, it will be 6pm for a 6:30 start. If you've not already told Ron Hunter who you will be bringing, make sure it's by the weekend!
* Christmas Puddings: Contact Anne Abbott for your order(s):
* Entertainment Book: Thought of buying one as a Christmas present?
Vouchers have been put on a mobile phone instead of in book form, because no-one goes anywhere without their phone these days.
One membership can go on 4 phones so any member of the family can get a discount for different things.
The book lasts for a year, whenever you buy it, and the year starts when you use your first voucher.
Contact Anne Abbott if you want to get an Entertainment book, or to see what you are buying for your money.
* Rotary's Council on Resolutions - 2020: RI's Council met online between the 15 October to 15 November 2020. For detail, click HERE.
* Centenary Book of Rotary in New Zealand: To purchase the Manga Tangata Rotary history book, contact either Colin Alford or Tony Cornelius.
We are proud to nominate this year's RYLA candidate, Madi Arps. Here is her introduction: Kia Ora! I am 17 years old (at time of writing), and I am just completing Year 13 at Naenae College.
Please study and plan ahead, especially if you are on duty to write a Bulletin Contribution. A reminder that it's also your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to fulfill your duty.
