Guest Speaker Mary O’Keeffe - Heritage Solutions
Last Monday evening we had a fantastic presentation from Mary O’Keeffe.  Mary is a professional archaeologist, who has run her consultancy, Heritage Solutions, for about 30 years.  Her presentation, entitled Life as a consulting archaeologist - small things tell big stories, included some of the sites around New Zealand where she has worked, sharing what can be learnt from these sites, and what they can tell us about being New Zealanders.

* Thank you from Te Omanga Hospice
"A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Te Omanga Hospice. Thanks to your incredible efforts forming a team to collect donations during our Street Appeal (and the generosity of our amazing community), we’ve raised an incredible $44,177.73.  These funds will directly support patients in the Hutt Valley, and their families, helping us continue to provide our services free of charge to those who need specialist palliative care and support.
Once again, thank you so much for your time, and the time and commitment from those in your group. This appeal wouldn’t be possible without the support from our schools, groups and local businesses.  Your efforts make a real difference to the lives of those we care for"
